Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather skin in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming...Damn, what a ride!!. It’s the only thing that keeps me from becoming a huge computer nerd how he fuels his wild life: I rarely sit still, so anything that involves movement does the trick

7/6/07 – 5 miles in from Sonora Pass to “Sinky” Lake (20 miles)

The four of us set off together and pretty much remained in line for the entire day. We kept ourselves amused with singing and conversations about a wide range of topics. We camped that night with a pretty large group, including Beef Stew, his sister Java, Blazer & Rob. We went for quick dip in the pond nearby, but it was rather “sinky” and not a very pleasant experience. We did, however, build a big fire and, thanks to Sage packing in the ingredients, roasted marshmallows for delicious s’mores. Good fun, indeed.
